Senator Williams tours A.W. Beattie's newest programs

Pennsylvania State Sen. Lindsey Williams on Wednesday toured A.W. Beattie Career Center.

The first-term District 38 state senator was given a sneak peak of the lab where the career center's anticipated Surgical Sciences program will be located in August 2020. She was also given updates on Sports Medicine and Veterinary Sciences, A.W. Beattie's three-year-old programs, which have a combined 102 students from nine school districts.

A.W. Beattie Executive Director Mr. Eric Heasley led Sen. Williams on the tour, which included a discussion on the future job market and how the career center prepares students to be college and career ready.
