ACP Senior of the Year plans for college, opening business

Angie Frushour is ACP's senior of the year.

Congratulations to Angie Frushour, a Northgate School District graduate who was named our Senior of the Year in Advanced Computer Programming!

Angie will take a year off, attend CCAC for Multimedia and Game Development and will launch a programming company.

"I just really enjoy helping people, and I think this is the way I can do it," Angie said.

She loved her classmates, instructor Dr. Bob and learning JAVA. She "wouldn't trade" her experience in Advanced Computer Programming for anything else.

"I got really close with everyone and it was a really cool experience everyday," Angie said. "I loved Java the most, definitely. It was the first thing I learned. It showed me how cool it can be to make something. You start with nothing and then you can build up and build up until the next thing you know you have a full-fledged program. As I learned, I just found it to be really fun making something new, troubleshooting and problem solving."
