Mandy's Pizza & More

Program Area(s): Culinary Arts
Description: Hoagie Maker/Fry Cook
Location: 512 Perry Highway
West View, PA 15229
Contact: Steve
Additional Information: Mandy's Pizza is Pittsburgh's most unique and accommodating eatery, because we are the only eatery to focus on both the traditional customer, and those with dietary requirements such as:
• Severe food allergies
• Gluten issues
• Vegan lifestyle
We expanded from being a traditional pizzeria, to this unique eatery, soon after our son was diagnosed with life-threatening food allergies some 13 years ago. We offer everything from a traditional pizza and hoagies, to allergen free versions all made from products invented by us, and baked in-house. This unique opportunity would be a great addition to ones resume simply because the education they would gain in how to accommodate those with special dietary requirements is still a skill deficiency among foodservice graduates.
Hours: Sunday-Thursday 4pm-9pm Friday and Saturday 4pm-10pm
Training Days: Monday and Tuesday
Summer - up to 30 hours a week
School year - up to 20 hours a week
More: This teenager MUST be one who is motivated to hustle; have the ability to stay busy when we are slow; and want to learn.
