Year after year, we amaze ourselves by developing new technologies, new techniques, new medicine that help us improve the lives of millions of good people. The development of scientific fields of all sorts are now more vital than ever. But in the pursuit of advancement to improve life we lose sight of who will be those dreamers of tomorrow; we lose sight of the future.

FIRST Robotics was founded by a man who didn't lose sight of our future. Dean Kamen created the FIRST Robotics program to spark the interest in scientific fields, in technology. The dream he created now is the heart of every FIRST competition; it gives kids the inspiration they would need to make them dream impossible dreams. One day, our future will cure horrible diseases, or revolutionize how we sort information. FIRST Robotics wants to help those children realize their dreams.
