PASTRY ARTS STUDENT ATTENDS NATIONAL CONFERENCE!
In July of 2010, Pastry Arts graduate Jessica Hatheway (Fox Chapel Area) and her FCCLA Advisor Debi Dobies attended the FCCLA National Conference in Chicago, Illinois. Jessica designed a birthday cake during her senior year celebrating the organization's 65th birthday and was invited to attend the annual event. Jessica's design was re-assembled by Kendall College in Chicago specifically for the conference. The cake was prominently displayed during the six day event, and was pointed out during the event's ceremonies.
Miss Hatheway was also honored to learn that she won a scholarship provided by FCCLA and the National Technical Honor Society that will be used as she continues her studies this fall.
