DEC "DARE TO EXPRESS" NAIL ART & HAIRCUTTING COMPETITION!
On Wednesday, April 27th, several students from A.W. Beattie Career Center's Cosmetology Program traveled to the Douglas Education Center (DEC) in Monessen for the first-annual "Dare to Express" Nail Art and Hair Cutting Competition!
Twenty teams, composed of 40 students from around the region, participated in the Nail Art Competition, while eleven competitors competed in the Haircutting Competition. The competitions were judged by professional stylists based on originality, use of color and final presentation as well as specific contest requirements.
