Admissions Policy
Students may enroll in a one, two, or three year technical program and must have
completed the ninth grade in his/her member high school. Students must
have the approval of their sending school district before entering Beattie.
Students attend Beattie for one half of the school day, in either the morning
or afternoon session, and complete the other half of the day at their home
school. The morning session begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 10:30
a.m. The afternoon session begins at 12:15 p.m. and ends at 2:45 p.m.

Resident Requirements
To be eligible to attend Beattie, a student must reside in a member school district
with his/her parent/guardian. All nonresident students are required to pay tuition
as established by the A.W. Beattie Career Center Joint Operating Committee.
Adult Career Training (ACT)
Through the ACT program, area adults residing in any of the 9 sending districts, may enroll in A.W Beattie Career Center to continue training or begin training to enhance their career opportunities.
