PROGRAM INFORMATION: The NATEF (National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation) certified Automotive Technology program at A.W. Beattie Career Center meets strict industry standards, providing students with hands-on experience using up-to-date diagnostic equipment in our state-of-the-art automotive shop. Students learn all aspects of the trade, and also participate in job shadowing, internship and cooperative education experiences. The Automotive Technology program is an AYES (Automotive Youth Education Systems) training facility, providing students during their senior year with work experience in local area dealerships, allowing for those important career connections. NATEF and AYES certifications assure students the best training and preparation to complete their ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification in less time upon graduation.
